Stacked Landscapes.

Experimental work (2025—ongoing)

When moving multiple images in bulk from one application to another, the system automatically stacks them on top of each other in a cascade downward and sometimes upward. I noticed, during the process of building the large grids for my Pushing It. project, that these stacked and cascading images formed their own latent imagery. I found it so interesting that in some, a city-scape seemed to be forming adjacent to colorfield blocks. I shifted the stacks as a whole unit and in some cases cropped in to create compositions with what the system generated.
