Pairing and sequencing have always played an important role in my working process. I had the urge to extend this to combining archival silver gelatin pinhole photographs with ephemeral paper negatives. As I strive to create ethereal pinhole imagery through ultra-long exposures, I’m considering the concepts of time and space—and the structure of the sequence, the archival, and the ephemeral.
